Description

Event starts  6:30 pm (Nigerian Time) on Sunday 19th Nov 2023.

  1. Learn what antibiotics and other antimicrobials do in your body
  2. Learn the best way to use them and when not to use them
  3. Educate yourself and your family about misuse

Antibiotics are not a magic medicine. Overuse and misuse of antibiotics contribute to the development of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

This makes it difficult to fight off infections.

AMR can cause longer hospital stays, higher healthcare costs, and even death. But if we understand how they work and how best to use them, then there is no need to fear.
