Summary of 2021 - Me You and The Superbugs organised 5 online sessions were held in Jan (Facebook Live), Feb, Mar, May and October.

Overview of session topics:

  • January: What is antibiotic resistance?
  • Feb and Mar: Appropriate use of antimicrobial agents, infection                                         Prevention
  • May: Endocarditis, AMR and Mechanism of action of antibiotics
  • October: What is vaccination, how do vaccines work? 

Attendee demographics 

  1. On Average 10 attendees per session
  2. Professions in attendance - medical doctor, scientist, pharmacist, microbiologist, engineer, social worker, lecturer.
  3. 92.3% found the sessions relevant or very relevant.
  4. Attendees attended from Bauchi, Benin, Ibadan, Lagos, Nsukka, USA, UK.

What we would like to achieve in 2022

Partner with more stakeholders to raise more awareness and enhance the knowledge of healthcare professionals in Nigeria. 

Strengthen our outreach capacity.
